September Workshops Set!

I am so excited to have my September Workshops on the calendar! I've got a few different workshops I'm trying out...from Faithbooking to digital scrapbooking with Studio J...and of course using the new CTMH cartridge...Artbooking... for my Cricut!
I am especially excited to share my ideas with everyone!

Getting Ready for Class at Otterbein

Good Afternoon everyone!! Today I'm working on the cards for my class at Otterbein. I absolutely love helping the elders create homemade cards! I try and make it as easy as possible for them to put the cards together...I cut out bigger die cuts from my cricut, run the die cuts through the xyron...and all they have to do is stick it together!! Here are the cards we will be making this month:

 This Happy Birthday Cupcake will be a cute card they could send to anyone.

This Little Love Bug Card will be just in time for Valentines Day! I was inspired by this card from Mary over at Cardztv! I also entered this card in the Cooking with Cricut challenge #71.

Paperbag Christmas Mini Album

Here are some pictures of the Paperbag Christmas Mini Album that I put together. This was one of the classes that I taught at the 577 Foundation in Perrysburg.

The class was a real success! The ladies that came to class all asked for me to do another one...maybe with different themes...I've got some ideas!! Keep checking back!!

SIT Swap Card

Here is my Scrapppin In Toledo Swap Card. I used some papers from the Magnolia Paper Pack. I made the hello embellishment with my Cricut Imagine...can't belive the colors matched the papers perfectly!! I did stamp the hello...a dollar stamp from Michaels. Hope you enjoy!!

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge #2

I'm not sure if we are allowed to post more than one card over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge, but I went ahead and entered this one too. This little guy is from The Angel Company and all the papers I used are also from The Angel Company too. I used watercolor pencils to color in this image too.  Hope you enjoy!!

Snips and Snails and Puppy Dog Tails at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge

Here's a card that I made for the boys teachers. I used water color pencils to color in Edwin!! I think he came out really sweet! Of course I used my boys for my inspiration. When I saw the Challenge over at Stamptacular Sunday Challenge I knew this card would fit perfectly!!

Giving Thanks Card

Here's a quick little card I made with TAC set Give Thanks. I also used TAC paper collection Winchester. On the inside it says "Give Thanks". I heat embossed the pumpking, really makes it stand out!! I colored the leaves and stem with my SU markers. I'm going to make a few of these for some of the girls I work with. I think the front maybe needs a little something else...maybe a brad or an eyelet, or maybe some twine...I like that idea...I'll have to keep looking at it!!

Back to What I Love!!!

Finally...I actually did a Scrapbook Page!!! I've been so preoccupied with cards that I'd lost touch with why I really love scrapbooking....Scrappin my Family!! It just hit me one day....why am I taking all this time and stressing out over my swap cards when I should be using that energy on my own family heirlooms...and it was just that simple!! I really enjoyed taking the time to Scrap this page...it was relaxing and fun...not stressfull!! Hooray for me!!! Ok...gotta get back to Scrappin!!!

Here is a Card I did for a Card Sketch Swap for my Scrappin In Toledo Group. I used the TAC set Just Dream. An Angel in Blue Jeans...just my style!! I also added some Stickles on her wings...Can't forget the glitter!! Hope you enjoy!!
